Great post. This project was talked about during the HOPE conference presentation I just blogged about. A number of technology educators at the conference were interested in applying the Hacker Ethic -- including an emphasis on self-directed learning -- to early technology education. They cited this Hole in the Wall project as an exciting place to see that in action.
